I am very satisfied to look your post. Thank you a lot and I'm taking a look ahead to touch you. Will you please drop me a e mail? Leave a Comment Trying to retireI have 19 years and 4 months in the Air Force. I recently failed my first PT test ever, have never been in any trouble my whole career. In order for me to put my retirement paperwork in I need to extend 4 months on my current enlistment to meet my 20yrs of service. I submitted my paperwork 2 months ago but the commander is holding it until I pass my next PT test. I recieved an LOC for my failure and see what the commander is doing is punitive in nature. I understand that the Air Force is using this as a tool to downsize and that is what I am trying to do. The folks on here that think some of these post are jokes are the ones that can eat McDonalds every day, with candy bars and cake and never gain a pound. I am 43 years old, had 3 sinus surgeries and have never been a great runner. My issue is that with all my aircraft maintenance expertise and knowledge does not mean crap anymore. Sign my damn paperwork and let me retire soundly. Guest MSgtMin. ScoresI understand that there should be a max. score and a min. score. Shouldn't the min. score give a score of 75. Guest SFStrengthOnly problem I have with the standards is the point distrabution. I have never cheap wholesale jerseys been great at running and i wouldnt call myself out of shape. My thing is why are push ups and sit ups only 10 points each max? I work hard to keep my strength up and it feels like it's for nothing because the max I can get is 20 points for it. I'm about 190lbs maxing out strength and ac with a near min run and I'm barely passing while an 160lb guy can barely do min pushups and situps but can run in 9mins and pretty much get an Excellent score on his test. All i'm saying is that they should make aerobic and strenght scores a little more even, maybe 15 points for situps and 15 points for pushups. BYou may be interested in:
